Start Day: 5/01/2019
Education Requirements: High School Diploma. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
About: The Life House is a faith-based food pantry and diaper bank located off of 120th and Center. We are creating an expansion of our diaper bank program to serve more babies in the Omaha area. We will partner with local social service agencies to provide free diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. Our mission is to show the love of Jesus while eliminating the existence of food insecurity and diaper need in our community. We were started in September of 2014 and have been experiencing rapid growth and success since then.
Mission Statement: “Loving and Impacting Families Eternally with the Truth of Christ.”
Description: The Program Manager for The Life House will be managing our Diaper Distribution Program. This includes tracking incoming inventory and outgoing distribution of over 10,000 diapers each month. It also involves maintaining frequent communication with our active partner agencies and ensuring each one is compliant according to the terms and conditions of our partnership. We track the outcomes of our program through annual surveys given to every client receiving diapers—the data from this must be input into a system and tracked along with monthly data. The Program Manager will oversee volunteers and help with the task as well. The Program Manager will assist the Executive Director in seeking and securing funding for the Diaper Bank program. This role will be a key player in the success and continued rapid growth of The Life House and will allow us to increase our distribution to the Omaha Area.
